About usGraham Smith has over 20 years' experience in editorial and management roles in book, multimedia, internet and corporate publishing. Graham is an experienced training professional, having spent many years managing the training business for a major UK training organisation for book and journal publishers. Since then he has successfully run Graham Smith Associates, delivering training and consultancy services to a wide range of clients in Europe and the UK. Graham is joined by a number of associates who are experts in their respective subjects. They include: Richard Balkwill: An experienced publisher and lecturer who specialises in copyright, publishing management and finance, publishing law and contracts. Richard also lectures at Oxford Brookes University and the Oxford International Centre for Publishing Studies. Sally Hughes: A graphic designer with wide experience in all aspects of document design, layout, usability, typography and use of illustration. Sally is also a lecturer for Oxford Brookes University and the Oxford International Centre for Publishing Studies. Bev Legge: A trained journalist, writer and publications manager with experience in medical, technical, financial and general news writing. Bev runs courses on writing and web writing for all kinds of organisation. Melanie MacRae: A freelance editorial consultant who provides specialist editing and project management services to publishing clients. Melanie runs course on editing, proofreading and other editorial skills. |
